This historic wine farm, Vergenoegd was originally proclaimed in 1696. The Manor house was constructed in 1745 with the gable being added in 1773. The farm is a major producer of top-quality red wine blends, cabernet sauvignon, Shiraz, Merlot and a prize-winning excellent port.
